Hans releases his Euro-Disco pop anthem Oxygen

International superstar, sex symbol and accordionist — Hans — has today released his debut single titled Oxygen.
The multi award winning comedy and cabaret artist has just this week completed his triumphant appearance on America’s Got Talent: The Champions (NBC) as a Grand Finalist, but there’s no time to rest or reflect on all that glory and glitter. Hans can now add recording artist to his already bulging CV with today's release of Oxygen.
The track is inspired by the high energy Euro dance/pop scene that Hans grew up with as a young boy sneaking into late night clubs in Berlin. It tells the intimate and inspiring story of his first love affair — with the accordion. A deeply meaningful relationship that has endured to this day, despite the challenges of living in an overtly outraged and judgmental world.
Oxygen is co-written by Hans and Chong Lim (John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton John), produced by Chong Lim and executive produced by Ross Fraser (John Farnham, Guy Sebastian, Dami Im).
Oxygen is the very first release from the new start-up record label that plans to give Simon Cowell a run for his money, Hans Disco Discs. The track is now available on all streaming platforms.
Hans commented, “Darling, last year Lizzo made the flute famous again and I have decided that in 2020 it’s the accordion’s turn! This is an ode to minority instrumentalists the world over!"
Hans will perform Oxygen as part of his new live show Haus of Hans: Disco Spectakulär in a world premiere season at the Adelaide Fringe Festival from February 25th, 2020 (19 show season) followed by The Melbourne International Comedy Festival from March 26th, 2020 (10 show season).
