Denise Drysdale is an Australian entertainment icon and has been entertaining audiences for over five decades. She is currently seen on Studio 10 (Ten) and on postage stamps as part a tribute series to Australian TV Legends.

Her past television credits include The Circle (Ten), Young Talent Time (Ten), Spicks and Specks (ABC), The Norman Gunston Show (ABC), Countdown (ABC), Celebrity Squares (Nine), Division Four (Nine), The Ernie Sigley Show (Nine), and her own daily talk show, Denise (Seven).

As an actress, Denise has appeared in Please Like Me (ABC) and in a number of movies, including The Last of the Knucklemen, Snap Shot and Blowing Hot and Cold. Denise has also starred on stage, most recently in 2019 alongside Mark Mitchell in GFO’s production of Saturday Night Fever. Previously she has appeared in productions of Salad Days, Grease, Two Gentlemen of Verona and Hello Dolly.

In 2018 Denise joined her best friend Jessica Rowe AM to co-host a comedy Podcast series, One Fat Lady and One Thin Lady. The popular podcast series debuted at #1 on Apple Podcasts. 

Originally from Victoria, Denise was employed as Melbourne's first television go-go dancer at the age of just 16. Her popularity led to the Australian Government inviting her to perform for troops in Vietnam in 1967. Denise is still actively involved with the Vietnam Veterans Association.

In 1974 Denise became Ernie Sigley's barrel girl on The Ernie Sigley Show (Nine), where she was affectionately named Ding Dong.

In 1975 and 1976 Denise won the TV Week Gold Logie Award for the Most Popular Female Personality on Australian television. She also won the TV Week Silver Logie Award for Most Popular Female Personality in both of those years.
