Finally! Hans, the Berlin boy wonder has announced he is heading out on the road again after spending the past 18 months socially distanced from his millions of adoring fans. Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music hosted by Hans is an exciting, interactive, live movie experience for the whole family.

Hans said: "Let’s face it, this is the greatest movie ever made and I’m the greatest host. So when these two things collide honeys - it’s going to be a night you’ll be telling your grandchildren about. I want people to get creative and dress up as their favourite character (or thing!) from the movie to win some prizes. And then together we'll boo the Nazis, hiss the Baroness, cheer for Maria, all while we sing along to those fabulous songs. Darlings, don't you think it's time we all have a good old-fashioned laugh again? I know I do. I can’t wait to see you at the movies!"

David Wilson, Managing Partner at Watercooler Talent successfully secured the rights to tour the Academy Award winning movie, and together with The Harbour Agency has partnered with Event Cinemas, Village Cinemas and a select number of independent theatres to bring this unique hybrid comedy, cabaret, movie experience to life.

Alison Deboo, General Manager - Alternate Content at Event Cinemas said: "At Event we're always looking for fun filled and fabulous experiences for our customers. We'd didn't think The Sound of Music could get any better on the big screen, but it has! We're thrilled to launch our new partnership with Watercooler Talent and The Harbour Agency for Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music and we can't wait to roll out the red carpet and welcome international superstar Hans to Event Cinemas!"

Geoff Chard, Head of Content at Village Cinemas said: "We are excited to be working with Hans, Watercooler Talent and The Harbour Agency to host special Sing-A-Long screenings of The Sound of Music. Hans breathes new life into the iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, and we are thrilled to be able to bring this movie back to the big screen. This will be an unmissable experience for long-term fans, and a once in a lifetime opportunity for new viewers."

David Wilson added: "This is such a perfect fit for Hans, and a perfect time to be offering a true feel good family entertainment experience. I hope we see generations of families coming along to the show."
